“The Neuro Eye Therapy programme with Sight Science has been a massive step forward in my Stroke rehabilitation process. Apart from the psychological and confidence aspect there has been a significant improvement to my vision and hence a marked improvement to the quality of my life. I feel I am almost back to my normal self and lifestyle. I travel abroad on holiday. I can carry out normal tasks in my garden and cooking is now quite a passionate hobby. I have adapted my business and administrative skills to “On Line Trading” and I now trade the Forex and Stock Market. Recovery of my vision loss to near normal and compensation in the blind field is compelling evidence that the programme has been successful for me. The constant monitoring, support and analysis feedback from the Sight Science Team and my desire to work at the programme have been instrumental factors in the overall success achieved and I would have no hesitation in encouraging and recommending fellow Stroke sufferers to consider this programme.”

“Bar maybe three days, every day that year I would spend around 40 to 45 minutes on the laptop. It was at the end of the nine month period I could say there was a definite improvement in my sight. I still can’t see lower down in my left hand peripheral vision so I have to take care with kerbs or obstacles like low tables. But the improvement to my sight has made a difference to my life and the quality of my life. Prior to the therapy there is no way I could have gone back to my bowling as I wouldn’t have had the confidence, but now I am back bowling with other partially sighted and blind bowlers. I have also gone from being unable to walk outside on my own to walking up to half a mile to visit a friend. I am also able to cross the road provided I take care. I would not have dared to do that before.”

“Being unable to drive was awful. I have severe heart disease, and in cold weather I wasn’t able to get out and about without driving. My wife had to take on so much to help me. However, after the treatment my eyesight improved so much that I have even got my driving licence back. It has been marvellous for me. Literally quite life changing and now I can keep up with my grandchildren.”

“Although I was told that there was no guarantee that my eyesight would improve within the space of around three months I got virtually all my sight back apart from a fuzzy patch in the upper right of my vision. I have steadily resumed my usual activities in all aspects of my life. I also got my driving licence back after a DVLA approved optician pronounced that my eyesight was now of a standard sufficient to resume driving.”

“My improvement in confidently moving around has been much remarked on by friends, who have seen me regularly, both before during and after the course. Their opinion unanimously is that because of the time frame in which the improvement occurred, i.e. starting very soon after I began the therapy, when this was the only change in my lifestyle, it can only have been directly linked to the therapy.”

“I don’t bump into things as regularly. I seem to have learned compensation techniques for observation in the area of loss.

The improvements plotted by you results charts seemed to improve my confidence in general. I think I may see a little more around the periphery of the Scotoma, but without regular perimetry testing it is difficult to tell. Passing the driving assessment and having my licence back is a real boost.”
