Sight Science Ltd is a spin out company from the University of Aberdeen (UoA) that was set up following the successful research activity carried out by Professor Arash Sahraie and colleagues at the UoA.
This research led to the development of a therapy program designed for visual rehabilitation of patients who have suffered visual field loss as a result of brain injury, most often following a stroke.
In 2008 Neuro-Eye therapy became available to the public, allowing those who had vision loss after stroke or other brain injury to undertake rehabilitation sessions. In July 2009 Sight Science Ltd was formed and has since provided the therapy to clients across the EU.
Sight Science provides a high standard of support and knowledge to clients who undertake Neuro-Eye Therapy. The company strives to increase its technology portfolio and will do so through its close connections with the world leading research team for vision sciences at the University of Aberdeen.
